The R216 could support almost all the mainstream LTE frequency bands (800/850/900/1800/2600 MHz) in Europe. The chipset in Vodafone R216 comes from Huawei HiSilicon Balong 711. It can support the maximum download speed to 150mbps based on the LTE category 4 technologies. In addition, the DC-HSPA+ and GSM/EDGE network could also be backward supported. On the DC-HSPA+ download speed to 42.2Mbps and upload speed to 5.76Mbps.


How to Unlock Huawei Vodafone R216 4G  Mobile WiFi router :

1. Make sure your Huawei Vodafone R216 4G Mobile WiFi router is atleast 30 % charged.( OR ) Connected to power suppyly 

2. Just insert a non acceptable Network sim on your Vodafone R216 4G router SIM card slot. (You have to use another network provider sim, which is currently locked to).

3. After changing the another network providers sim on your Huawei WiFi / MiFi switch the device on. It will display “Invalid SIM” because you have used another network providers sim.

4. Now just establish a WiFi connection to Huawei Vodafone R216 4G WiFi MiFi router with your PC / IPAD / IPHONE / Android Device.

5. Connect your Vodafone R216 4G with PC and login to your device’s dashboard at 192.168.1.1/simlock.asp OR 192.168.1.1 OR 192.168.8.1. Go to Advanced Settings – SIM Settings – Unlock Device – Enter Unlock Code – Click on Apply.

Open your Settings – Dial-up – Unlock SIM card – Enter 8 digits unlock code (NCK Code) in your Huawei Vodafone R216 4G WiFi MiFi router. Click OK and the device will reboot to display the new network.
